<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of eliminating a subject that cannot be brought into focus state in refocusing, while reducing release time-lag.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus including an imaging optics having a lens performing focus adjustment of th optical image of a subject, and imaging means capable of capturing the optical image formed by the imaging optics, and creating a pixel signal capable of generating a refocus image is further provided with calculation means for acquiring the information of the subject the optical image of which is captured by the imaging means, and calculating a range of the lens position where the refocus image of the subject can be created based on the information of the subject thus acquired, prediction means for predicting change of the lens position after calculation where the refocus image of the subject can be created based on the range of the lens position, and determination means for determining the drive position of the lens based on the prediction results.</p> |
