<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an improvement in relative positional accuracy between electricity removing means and the surface of a pressure rotation member, and enable an improvement in assemblability of an electricity removing member and a reduction in cost.SOLUTION: A fixing device includes a heating rotation member 1 and a pressure rotation member 4 that forms a nip part N with the heating rotation member, and heats, while conveying, a recording material P carrying an unfixed image T at the nip part to fix the unfixed image to the recording material. The fixing device further includes electricity removing means 5d that removes electricity in non-contact with the heating rotation member until the potential on the surface of the pressure rotation member not in contact with the unfixed image is reduced to a predetermined potential, where the electricity removing means also serves as a member 5 to support the pressure rotation member.</p> |
