<p>A locking apparatus for a seat belt retractor which prevents the locking when a seat belt is wound. The apparatus comprises a locking base connected to one side of a spool; a pawl which protrudes out of the locking base and is engaged with latch teeth formed on the inner surface of a latch hole in a frame; a locking gear which is connected to one side of the locking gear and where a spool shaft protruding from the locking base penetrates through the center; a locking arm which is pivotally installed at one side of the locking gear; a compression spring which is installed between the locking arm and the locking gear; a retainer which holds the locking gear and includes a circular wall having teeth on the inner surface to be engaged with the locking part of the locking arm; and an end lock prevention spring which is pivotally connected to the retainer to restrict the pawl shaft of the pawl and prevents the locking arm from rotating when the seat belt is wound.</p> |
