<p>The present invention relates to an energy storage device having a gas release unit. The present invention relates to quickly discharge a gas generated in a case regardless of a location of installing a substrate. An energy storage device according to the present invention includes a cell, a case body, a gas release part, and a terminal plate. The cell includes an electrolyte and stores electric energy. The case body has an opening part in an upper part. A receiving space for the cell is formed through the opening part. The gas release part includes penetration holes which are separated with a constant distance from the upper end of the opening part of the case body to the lower part, and a gas passing layer which is formed in the case body to cover the penetration hole, discharge a gas generated in driving the cell, and presents the leakage of the electrolyte of the cell. And, a terminal is electrically connected to the cell and seals the opening part of the case.</p> |
