<p>The invention relates to pipeline transport and can be used for connecting polymer pipes to one another or to metal pipes and also to polymer or metal containers.The polymer pipe connection assembly comprises a fitting (2) situated inside the polymer pipe (1), and a coupling (4) having at least one cylindrical portion which encompasses the pipe (1) and the fitting (2). The assembly is provided with a collar (3) which is able to change its geometrical dimensions and shape under a load, said collar having at least one cylindrical portion and being situated between the pipe (1) and the coupling (4). The fitting (2) has a lip (6) on the outside surface thereof for limiting the movement of the pipe (1) and the collar (3), and the inside surface of the coupling (4) has a lead-in chamfer (5). The change in the dimensions of the collar (3) can be enabled by means of the collar (3) material selected or by specific characteristics of the structural design of the collar.</p> |
