<p>Disclosed is a section insulator for two aligned rigid conductor rails that are electrical power supply line for trolley buses, trains or trams. The opposing ends of the aligned rigid conductor rails have a first distance to each other, and which are each connected with a first and/or second conductive runner. The two conductive runners protrude into the first distance, their sides facing the travel plane being arranged in a contact plane. The two conductive runners overlap in the longitudinal direction of the conductor rails, and run antiparallel to each other in a second distance. The first conductive runner is connected with a first insulating runner and the first insulating runner is connected with the second conductor rail. The second conductive runner is connected with a second insulating runner and the second insulating runner is connected with the first conductor rail. The edges of the conductive runners and the insulating runners facing the travel plane are arranged in the contact plane. The conductive runners and the insulating runners are height-adjustable in relation to the conductor rails. The conductive runners and the insulating runners on their ends facing the adjacent conductor rail are height-adjustable by means of eccentric sleeves in relation to the conductor rail. The conductive runners in addition are height adjustable by a screw arranged vertically to the contact plane, with the screw being supported on the assigned conductor rail, being threadable into a threaded hole of the conductive runner, and being arranged offset in longitudinal direction of the conductor rail. The connection between the conductive runners and the assigned insulating runners another eccentric sleeve is arranged for relative height adjustment.</p> |
