<p>Sheet noise insulation comprises an impervious (and preferably impermeable) moisture barrier 31 and a co-extensive layer of lofted plastic fibre 32 thereon. The lofted layer 32 preferably comprises hydrophilic polypropylene micro-fibres. Preferred laminates include a scrim layer 33, adhesives and a heat sealed seam 34. Such insulation may be blanked for direct attachment to the inner skin of a motor vehicle door.</p> |
