<p>The invention concerns a nanomaterial comprising nanoparticles of an oxide functionalised with a light-resistant organic compound, coated in a polymer matrix, a method for producing this nanomaterial and the uses of this nanomaterial. The nanomaterial according to the invention comprises: a) nanoparticles of an oxide of which the outer surface is modified with groups comprising an electron-dense groupπ, and b) at least one organic compound comprising electron-dense groupsπ, said surface-modified nanoparticles and said light-resistant organic compounds forming functionalised nanoparticles that are coated in a polymer matrix.
