<p>The invention relates to a device for quickly screwing the caps on glass or PET containers, the device being mounted on the filling equipments in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic fields and the like. According to the invention, the device consists of a system () for supplying the caps (), located above the working area in a recess of conjugated shape cut into a support piece (), the cap () being lowered up to the lower edge of a pair of tweezers (), by a mandrel () actuated by a pneumatic actuation system (), the tweezers () having an axial channel of cylindrical shape cut therein to guide the cap () and, at the lower side, having a series of jaws which have in the inside a shape conjugated to the shape of the cap, and, outside, a conical surface, in contact with a surface of conjugated shape cut in the inside of a screwing sleeve () where, under the action of a spring (), the jaws of the tweezers () are deformed and ensure the clamping of the cap () by the tweezers () in order to place the cap () on the neck of the container (), the assembly formed by the driving plate (), the guide rods () and the screwing head () will move on the vertical in relation to the support piece () in some axial bearings (), at the intervention of the pneumatic actuation system () on a distance established by the construction; concomitantly with the descending motion, the screwing sleeve () starts to perform a rotary motion necessary to screw the cap () onto the container, the necessary revolving couple being produced by an electric motor () and being transmitted to the screwing sleeve () by means of a gear with toothed wheels (), and, after reaching the pre-established screwing couple, the action of the electric motor stops and the pneumatic actuation system () controls the return of the screwing head assembly to the initial position.</p> |
