The invention relates to a process for marking products and ensuring traceability thereof for preventing counterfeiting. According to the invention, the process consists in applying a hologram (1) made of double thermoplastic polyester foil provided with a thin intermediary metal layer on which there are inscribed by demetallization some elements consisting of a group of alphanumeric characters (2) and a bidimensional bar code (3) consisting of square graphical symbols, the reading of alphanumeric characters (2) being made by the naked eye, and the reading of the bar code (3) being made by a camera of a mobile telephone or a web camera of a personal computer, by means of a dedicated software installed on such devices. The elements necessary for ensuring product traceability are stored in a database hosted by a server and which may be accessed by users by means of Internet, in more ways: by means of a mobile telephone with camera and access to a short message service or Internet connection or by means of a personal computer with web camera and Internet connection, after establishing the connection, an adequate software installed on the server selects and transmits the data relating to the product. |
