<p>A V-channel is welded to the periphery of the side discs of the drum. A cover sheet is stretched across the gap, when the cable has been wound on, and is kept tight by a spring-loaded wire. The sheet pref. consists of aluminium foil coated on both sides with a polyethylene copolymer with reactive carboxyl groups and an additional inner layer of a high-density polyethylene homopolymer.</p> |
