PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for identifying immunobinders of cell-surface antigens.SOLUTION: The invention provides methods for identifying immunobinders (e.g., scFv antibody) which can be specifically bound to cell surface antigens, and compositions identified according to the above method. The methods of the invention generally comprise the steps of contacting labeled antigen-expressing cells with labeled immunobinder-expressing cells, and isolating immunobinder-expressing cells that bind to the antigen-expressing cells using a cell sorter.
