Disclosed is a copolymer which includes at least monomer units corresponding to a vinyl monomer A containing a blocked isocyanate group and represented by following Formula (1); and monomer units corresponding to a vinyl monomer B containing a cyclic ether group having 3 to 5 members. The copolymer may further include monomer units corresponding to (meth)acrylic alkyl esters, aromatic vinyl compounds, hydroxyl-containing monomers, and/or carboxyl-containing monomers. In the formula, R 1 represents hydrogen atom or methyl group; R 2 represents a bivalent saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and R 3 represents a residue of isocyanate-blocking agent R 3 H. This copolymer gives a cured article that excels not only in adhesion to substrates but also in resistance to chemicals, especially to alkalis. |
