Producing a denitrification catalyst, comprises (a) preparing a suspension by contacting, with water, divided titanium oxide having an anatase form and a specific surface area of 70-400 m 2>/g and soluble manganese(II) salt and soluble iron(III) salt, (b) adding a solution of a precipitating agent and alkali to the suspension to increase the pH of the suspension to 8-9.5, (c) subjecting the suspension to a water evaporation, and (d) calcining the product to obtain the catalyst for 1 hour at a temperature of 400-600[deg] C, preferably for 4 hours at a temperature of 450-500[deg] C. Producing a denitrification catalyst, comprises (a) preparing a suspension by contacting, with 4-20 l of water, 600-800 g of divided titanium oxide having an anatase form and a specific surface area of 70-400 m 2>/g and soluble manganese(II) salt and soluble iron(III) salt at a molar ratio of 2-4, preferably 2.5-3, where the total weight of the iron and manganese is 20-35 wt.%, (b) adding a solution of a precipitating agent and alkali to the suspension, while maintaining the suspension under agitation for 10 minutes, preferably 45 minutes, so as to increase the pH of the suspension to 8-9.5, (c) subjecting the suspension to a water evaporation at a temperature of 80-130[deg] C, and (d) calcining the product from the water evaporation to obtain the catalyst, where the calcining step is carried out for 1 hour at a temperature of 400-600[deg] C, preferably for 4 hours at a temperature of 450-500[deg] C. Independent claims are included for: (1) a denitrification catalyst, comprising iron and manganese oxides in amorphous form, disposed on a titanium oxide in anatase form; and (2) catalytic denitrification of fumes using the catalyst at a temperature of 140-250[deg] C.
|
