摘要 The invention relates to devices for measuring volume and mass of materials transported using conveyors at mining, chemical and other branches of industry. The invention is aimed at modifying existing devices for measuring volume and mass of materials taking into account a groove-shaped traction mechanism. The assigned task is characterized in that the material is lighted by a flat light ray and developing light ray at identical angles is taken relative to perpendicular to the conveyor longitudinal axis passing in one plane with the video camera optical axis, and the material volume is determined by multiplying the designed area to the distance between adjacent images, determined by the product of the conveyor speed to the time between images and sine of the video camera setting angle. There are some other differences from the prototype. The proposed device provides to measure volume and mass on conveyors using different traction mechanisms; to measure volume and mass on conveyors without limiting traction mechanism inclination angle; ability to use the device as a dosing device and in transportation systems with a complex algorithm of freight flow control. Working drawings, scheme-technical decisions and a software are provided, prototypes are manufactured and tested.
