The present invention relates to a resource allocation algorithm and operation procedure for efficiently reporting cell global identity (CGI) information from a user equipment (UE) to a base station during an operation procedure of automatic neighbor relation (ANR) in a wireless communication system. A serving base station receives a CGI information report, executes ANR, and allows service quality to be maintained through an efficient handover of a terminal located in an edge of a serving base station service coverage. According to the present invention, when uplink/downlink data exist, the serving base station stops data allocation to a UE and requests an MR for neighbor eNBs. Since the UE can be transitioned to a DRX state during a DRX inactivity time and is guaranteed BCH coding of the neighbor cell, the UE is enabled to perform the CGI information report. |
