- 35 Abstract METHOD FOR PRINTING AN UPSCALED IMAGE Disclosed is a method (200) of printing a transformed image corresponding to a source image. The method determines (210) at least a first scale factor to upscale the source image to generate the transformed image, the first scale factor being at a first mathematical precision. The source image is enlarged (240,250) along at least one edge of said source image edges and pixel data is copied (270) along the source image edges into the enlarged area of the enlarged source image. The method maps (280) each pixel of the transformed image back to a corresponding pixel into the enlarged source image including the copied pixel data along the edge of the source image. The method may determine (230) a second scale factor, the second scale factor being at a second mathematical precision, wherein each pixel of the transformed image is mapped back to a corresponding pixel in the enlarged source image using the second scale factor. 770iS44 1 PO711RR snpri Indged Start Compute image transform Adjust image transform 230 Compute inverse transform in different mathematical precision Determine size of buffer Allocate buffer in display list 260 Copy image data into buffer taking into account enlarged region 270 Copy image data into enlarged region of buffer Map pixels Fig. 2 (:End
|
