<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device and a radio communication method that simply enable high-security communication.SOLUTION: A radio communication device of an embodiment comprises reception means, encryption means, communication control means, and transmission means. The reception means receives a first key used for encryption from another apparatus. The encryption means encrypts authentication data on the basis of the first key. The communication control means describes the encrypted authentication data in information for radio communication connection.
