PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment agent for synthetic fibers which suppresses accumulation of tar over a long period by keeping excellent heat resistance in producing or processing of a synthetic fiber with heat treatment and achieves excellent process passing ability by keeping excellent extreme-pressure lubricity, a treatment method for synthetic fibers using the treatment agent for synthetic fibers and a synthetic fiber obtained by the treatment method.SOLUTION: A treatment agent for synthetic fibers uses one or more selected from specified phosphate esters and organic amine salts of the phosphate esters as a smoothing agent.
