摘要 Implementations of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for automatically preloading data pertaining to credentials determined to be likely to be used during a particular time interval into a memory utilized by a credential emulator. The systems and methods described herein contemplate identifying a particular time interval by identifying events that may designate the beginning and end of that particular time interval, identifying contextual information relevant to the client device or a user account affiliated with the client device during the time interval, identifying a set of credentials available for loading into the memory utilized by the credential emulator, determining from the set of credentials, a subset composed of individual credentials that are likely to be used during the time interval, and loading data pertaining to individual credentials in the subset into the memory utilized by the emulator.

A method, implemented by one or more processors, for automatically loading data representing one or more credentials into a cache of a credential emulator located at a client, the method comprising: acquiring contextual information indicative of one or more of the context of the client, the context of a user account affiliated with the client, and the context of a user of the client; determining, using the contextual information, a context scenario into which the client presently fits, the context scenario defined, at least in part, by geographic location information; identifying a set of credentials for which representative data is capable of being loaded into the cache of the credential emulator; determining a likelihood of use for each credential in the set of credentials; and selecting, from the set of credentials, a subset of credentials for loading into the credential emulator, wherein the composition of the subset is based, at least in part, on the likelihoods of use, wherein the likelihoods of use are determined based, at least in part, on the contextual information and on data representing past credential usage by multiple other client devices, and wherein the data representing past credential usage by multiple other client devices is data representing past credential usage by multiple other client devices during time intervals in which they fit into the same context scenario into which the client presently fits.
