The appts for welding plastics in sheet form has a fixed tubular electric heater and a pressing device. The sheets to be welded are inserted between the two and supported by an anti-adhesive surface. The pressing device is detachably mounted in a lid hinged to the box containing the heating element, so that a uniform pressure can be exerted on the surfaces to be welded. The elastic support may be a U-shaped piece whose top is covered by an anti-adhesive layer, against which the hinged elastic pressing device may be brought. |
