<p>Method of corrosion protection of sintered metal products in which 7-10 wt.% of a powdered mineral comprising (in wt.%) 30-50 SiO2, 3-10 Al2O3, 20-30 CaO, 12-20 Fe2O3, 4-7 Na2O, 0.3-1.0 MgO, 0.1-0.2 MnO, 0.5-2 P2O5, is added to the metal powder before sintering, and the sintering is carried out in a controlled atmosphere. Prior to addition to the metal powder which is pref. iron, the additive is calcined at 950 degrees C for 1 hour, and ground to 500 mu.</p> |
