Combining two fibre rovings by twisting

The substantially untwisted rovings are passed pref. via separate rollers to a pair of drawing rollers, and are combined at a point between the drawing rollers and the upper guide of a spinning machine which imparts a twist to combine the rovings together. Pref. the rovings form an isosceles triangle with the line of clamping of the drawing rollers, and pref. a peripherally grooved stabilising roller is arranged between the junction point and the upper guide. The resulting yarn is used for making non-woven fabrics.
