Provided are: a non-oriented magnetic steel sheet containing, by mass%, no greater than 0.010% of C, 1.0-7.0% of Si, 0.001-3.0% of Mn, 0.0001-3.5% of sol. Al, 0.01-0.2% of P, no greater than 0.010% of S, and no greater than 0.010% of N, the ratio (P120/Fe700) of the peak-peak height (P120) of the P in the vicinity of an electron energy of 120 eV to the peak-peak height (Fe700) of the Fe in the vicinity of an electron energy of 700 V in the Auger derivative spectrum obtained by analyzing the grain boundary broken surfaces by means of Auger electron spectroscopy being at least 0.1 and the sheet thickness being 0.10-0.50 mm; and a motor using the non-oriented magnetic steel sheet in a core. |
