A pneumatic tire (1) is provided with: a ring-shaped structural member (10) disposed around a rotating axle and having a cylindrical shape with an outer surface and an inner surface; a carcass portion (12) that is at least partially disposed outside the ring-shaped structural member with respect to a direction parallel with the rotating axle, and that includes a rubber-coated cord; a rubber layer (11) that is at least partially disposed opposite the outer surface of the ring-shaped structural member and that includes a tread portion; and a fiber (2) disposed between the ring-shaped structural member and the rubber layer for suppressing the creation of a gas space between the ring-shaped structural member and the rubber layer.
