The invention relates to a profiled sieve bar (6) which has a base region and a head region (7). A sieve slot or a sieve gap is produced between flanks (8, 9) of the slot on the head region. Each slot-producing flank on the head region of the sieve bar has a radius (R1, R2) with a common central point on the upstream and downstream side. According to the invention, a sieve device (1) is provided in particular which is designed preferably in the shape of a sieve basket, in which sieve slots or gaps formed between profiled sieve bars (6) are provided. The sieve bars have a geometry on the sieve bar base region, said geometry being adapted to receiving recesses of support elements (3) and being received by said recesses. The bars are permanently secured to said receiving recesses. The sieve bars are profiled such that each slot-producing flank on the head region of the sieve bar has a radius with a common central point on the upstream and downstream side. |
