PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight consuming less electric power, and a display device consuming less electric power by utilizing the light emitted from the backlight.SOLUTION: A display device comprises a light source device in which plural light-emitting elements are arranged, a scattering plate fixed to the light source device, a first polarizing plate fixed to the scattering plate, a liquid crystal panel fixed to the first polarizing plate, and a second polarizing plate fixed to the liquid crystal panel. The light source device includes a light-transmitting organic resin with a convex spherical surface for covering each of the plural light-emitting elements, and a light-transmitting organic resin with a flattened surface for covering the plural light-emitting elements and the light-transmitting organic resin with the convex spherical surface. |
