<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system which can efficiently authenticate both user and device.SOLUTION: In a certificate issue request generation device 1, a storage unit 1a stores device information C2 of the device and an encryption key K2. An operation unit 1b acquires user information C1 of a user A read from a storage medium 6 by an information processing device 2. On the basis of the user information C1, the device information C2 and the encryption key K2, the operation unit 1b generates an issue request C for a certificate A1 which certifies as correspondence to combination of the user A and the certificate issue request generation device 1, and transmits the issue request C to a certificate issuing device 3 via the information processing device 2. The certificate issuing device 3 issues the certificate A1 in response to the issue request C, and provides the certificate A1 for the certificate issue request generation device 1. At authentication, the certificate issue request generation device 1 transmits the certificate A1 to the authentication device 4, and the authentication device 4 performs authentication on the basis of combination of the user information C1 and the device information C2 that are included in the certificate A1.</p> |
