comparing an oxygen concentration of exhaust entering a particulate filter with an oxygen concentration of exhaust exiting the filter and entering a three-way catalyst downstream of the filter; operating a cylinder of a turbocharged spark-ignited engine lean for a length of time, the length of time based on a measured oxygen storage capacity of the three-way catalyst, to regenerate the filter while maintaining exhaust exiting the filter at stoichiometry. |
