<p>The present invention relates to a plate glass cutting apparatus which can cut a wide plate glass into multiple pieces. The plate glass cutting apparatus according to the present invention comprises a supporting case (20) formed to support the lower surface of a glass plate (1) discharged from a cutting unit (B) and including an air chamber (21) inside; and an air supply means (30) connected to the air chamber (21), wherein multiple air passing holes (22) connected to the air chamber (21) are formed on the upper surface of the supporting case (20), so that the air inside the air chamber (21) is discharged to the lower side of the plate glass (1) through the air passing holes (22) when air is supplied to the air chamber (21) by using the air supply means (30), and thus an air layer is formed between the upper surface of the supporting case (20) and the lower surface of the plate glass (1). Therefore, the apparatus has an advantage that a worker can easily control the position of the plate glass (1) for a cutting line (2) formed on the plate glass (1) to correspond to the edge part of the supporting case (20) by reducing the friction force between the supporting case (20) and the plate glass (1) by the air layer.</p> |
