Provided is a composite vane equipped with a composite vane body (11) that is made of a composite material comprising a thermosetting resin or thermoplastic resin and reinforcement fibers and a metal sheath (12) that is bonded, via a soft adhesive (13), to a leading edge section (11A) of the composite vane body (11) so as to cover the leading edge section (11A), wherein an adhesive filling section (11a) in which the soft adhesive (13) is filled, multiple leading edge-side contact sections (11b) that come into contact with a curved section (12b), said curved section being equivalent to the leading edge of the metal sheath (12), and multiple protrusions (11c) that come into contact with a planar section (12c), said planar section being equivalent to the vane surface of the metal sheath (12), at the height identical to the thickness of a layer formed by a required amount of soft adhesive (13) filled in the adhesive filling section (11a) are formed on the leading edge section (11A) of the composite vane body (11). Thus, the metal sheath can be attached to the leading edge section easily and with high accuracy. |
