1. A process for the removal of pollutants in wastewater comprising the steps of:
a. adding at least one recombinant HRP isoenzyme to the wastewater; b. allowing said at least one recombinant HRP isoenzyme to react with the wastewater for a predetermined duration of time; wherein said incubation step is carried out without the addition of H2O2; and c. quantifying the reaction to determine the extent of purification of the wastewater by means of the reduced the level of the pollutants. |
