The present invention relates to a bypass switch device of a converter, which enables the converter to normally operate when a breakdown occurs in a specific sub-module in the converter, in which a plurality of sub-modules are connected in series, by enabling a phase current to bypass the broken sub-module, thereby enabling the converter to operate normally only with the remaining normal sub-modules. The bypass switch device of a converter, in which a plurality of sub-modules are connected in series, according to the present invention comprises: a movable iron core capable of moving forward and backward in the longitudinal direction; a movable rod extending at one end of the movable iron core and determining a short circuit and a short-circuit release of the sub-modules according to the forward and backward movements of the movable iron core; a metallic member coupled to the movable iron core in the longitudinal direction at a predetermined angle; a movable coil wound around the movable iron core; a permanent magnet fixed adjacent to the movable coil; and an elastic member of which one end is fixed and the other end is connected to the metallic member.
|
