<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard alloy baseplate outer periphery cutting blade capable of cutting a rare earth sintered magnet with high dimensional accuracy and method of producing hard alloy baseplate outer periphery cutting blade.SOLUTION: A cutting blade part 20 is formed by fixing an abrasive grain formed by coating, preliminarily with a magnetic material, a diamond particle and/or a cBN particle, with an average grain size and a toughness index TI set appropriately, onto a baseplate 10 consisting of a hard alloy-made circular ring-shaped thin plate. The cutting blade part 20 is formed by impregnating gaps between abrasive grains and between abrasive grains and the baseplate 10 with a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin composition and hardening. The tolerance of the thickness of pushed-out parts of the cutting blade part 20 is 0.001 mm or greater and 0.1×T2mm or smaller, (T2is the maximum value of the thickness in the whole of the cutting blade 20), and the circularity(OD/2-OD/2) of the cutting blade part 20 is 0.001 mm or greater and 0.01×ODmm or smaller (ODand ODare respectively the maximum value and the minimum value of the outer diameter of the cutting blade part 20).</p> |
