PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of using a monoclonal anti-sclerostin antibody for inhibiting bone resorption for adjusting the bone density.SOLUTION: A method of cross-blocking the binding of sclerostin to a target site comprises administering a pharmaceutical containing 1-8 mg/kg of a monoclonal anti-sclerostin antibody exhibiting a binding affinity of 1 nmol or less for sclerostin of a specific sequence to a human. The anti-sclerostin antibody is a human antibody, a humanized antibody, or a chimeric antibody.
