<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor that has low junction resistance and excellent sealability, and further has external electrodes excellent in plating properties.SOLUTION: A ceramic element body 10 has a multilayer structure composed of ceramic layers 13, and internal electrodes 11 and 12 disposed at a plurality of boundary surfaces between the ceramic layers 13 so as to face to each other via the ceramic layers 13. External electrodes 15 and 16 are provided at end portions of the ceramic element body 10 so as to be connected to the internal electrodes 11. The external electrodes 15 and 16 are burning electrodes formed by burning. The external electrodes (burning electrodes) 15 and 16 each have a first layer 23 and a second layer 25 disposed on the first layer 23. The first layer 23 contains a B-Si-Ba-Zn-system glass, and the second layer 25 contains a B-Ba-Zn-system glass. The Si content ratio in the glass composition of the second layer 25 is lower than the Si content ratio in the glass composition of the first layer 23.</p> |
