Some embodiments of a method include determining a first distance between at least one of the search results and a home page associated with the at least one search result and determining a display order for the plurality of search results.

determining, via a processor, a plurality of distances for each search result of a respective plurality of search results, wherein each distance of the plurality of distances is based on a number of web pages between a respective search result and a home page of the respective search result; determining an order for plurality of search results based on the determined plurality of distances; rendering a first search result of the plurality of search results; rendering a first home page of the first search result; and rendering a determined distance for the first search result and the first home page.
