COOLING DEVICE FOR A HEADLIGHT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A LASER HEADLIGHT

The invention relates to a cooling device for a headlight (1) of a motor vehicle, especially for a laser headlight. The cooling device comprises a cooling body (3) for thermally contacting a light source (2) of the headlight (1) and one or more passive air guides. Each air guide comprises an inlet line (4) and an outlet line (5) to supply outside air from outside the headlight (1) to the cooling body (3) via the inlet line (4) during travel of the motor vehicle (6) and to discharge the supplied outside air via the outlet line (5). The outside air enters the inlet line (4) via an inlet opening (8) arranged at a distance to the cooling body (3) and exits the outlet line (5) via an outlet opening (9) arranged at a distance to the cooling body (3). The cooling device is designed for arrangement in the motor vehicle (6) such that during travel of the motor vehicle (6) the air pressure at the inlet opening (8) is greater than the air pressure at the inlet opening (9).
