PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional cue by displaying a monocular movement parallax between continuous images with line scan.SOLUTION: A device for viewing an object includes: a radiation source and at least two linear detectors; means for moving an object relatively through a scan range in paths continuous at a certain angle along the linear detectors; an image generation device which generates at least a first image from an output of the first linear detector, a second image and a third image from outputs of the second linear detector for each continuous path; and an image display which displays the first, second and third images continuously, and is suitable for displaying the monocular movement parallax between the images. Each image is processed before display with a method of reducing distortion due to beam diffusion in a direction vertical to the scan direction. The monocular movement parallax between the images is used for generating a three-dimensional cue visually recognizable with eyes of an observer. |
