PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately connect to prior wrapping paper even when wrapping paper is replaced, to shift to next wrapping action smoothly.SOLUTION: A wrapping paper connecting device includes: positioning means for positioning an end part of old wrapping paper 9a and a distal end part of new wrapping paper 9b to a predetermined connecting position; and wrapping paper connecting means 23 for applying a self-adhering tape 49 to both outer faces of the end part of the old wrapping paper 9a and both outer faces of the distal end part of the new wrapping paper 9b which are positioned at the connecting position by the positioning means. The end part of the old wrapping paper 9a which is folded double, is wound on a roll 8, and is successively rewound to wrap an agent is connected to the distal end part of the new wrapping paper 9b exchanged newly.
