<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster with a rotation lock mechanism having a double lock function capable of simultaneously performing rotation stop of a caster body and brake (rotation stop) of a wheel.SOLUTION: The caster, in which a wheel is attached to the caster body pivoted by a caster bracket, includes a rotation lock mechanism composed of: a disk-shaped lock plate which is attached integrally with the caster bracket and has a recess for lock; a rotation lock pin held by a spring for wheel lock so as to be recess/projection-engaged with the recess for lock; a spring for caster lock for making the rotation lock pin recess/projection-engaged with the lock plate; and an operation lever energized with a rotation force in the constant direction by the spring for wheel lock. In the rotation lock mechanism, when the operation lever is rotated to the lower side, the rotation lock pin is recess/projection-engaged with the lock plate to stop the rotation of the caster body, and simultaneously the spring for wheel lock presses the wheel to stop the rotation of the wheel.</p> |
