<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a keyword associated with video effectively with good convenience to a user.SOLUTION: A still image extraction part 302 extracts and outputs a still image to a character string extraction part 303 based upon a video signal input from a video processing part 301, and also stores the still image in a storage part 71. The character string extraction part 303 extracts a character string as a video signal integrated with the input still image in the still image. A keyword detection part 304 mutually associates and stores the keyword and the still image including the video signal of the character string having the included keyword in a storage part 71. According to information on operation input from a remote controller RC etc., a thumbnail generation part 305 makes a display machine 61 present thumbnails, generated by reading the stored still image, in a selectable state through a blend part 308. A browser generation part 306 executes information retrieval processing utilizing the Internet based upon a selected thumbnail.</p> |
