GENETIC SCREENING METHOD FOR PRODUCING 1,4-BDO

A specific example relates to a screening method for discovering a gene capable of increasing 1,4-BDO production based on proteomics data. Also, it has been found that 1,4-BDO productivity is enhanced by overexpressing Ncg10630 (citrate synthase) and Ncg12145 (hyperthetical protein) which are proteins selected by the method. Through the method, it is possible to discover more proteins associated with 1,4-BDO productivity, thereby enhancing productivity. Therefore, it is determined that the method has high potential for industrial use.
