<p>The present invention relates to a composition for selecting a rice breed for selecting a rice breed having leafhopper-resistance. The composition includes a primer which detects at least one oligonucleotide or a fraction thereof selected from a group consisting of RM18166, RM18171, and Indel15040 as DNA markers. More specifically, the composition includes one or more primer sets selected from a group consisting of SEQ ID: 1-6. In addition, the present invention relates to a method and a kit for selecting a rice breed having leafhopper-resistance. The method includes the steps of: separating genome DNAs from a rice sample; amplifying a target sequence by performing amplification reaction using one or more primer sets which uses the separated genome DNAs as a template and is selected from a group consisting of SEQ ID: 1-6; and detecting the amplified product. When the method of the present invention is used, rice individuals which have leafhopper-resistance and sensitivity can be efficiently identified by using the makers, which are very closely related to locations of leafhopper-resistant gene.</p> |
