PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device capable of improving transmission reliability in simple configuration in comparison with the case where regulation means is to be regulated on the basis of a voltage of a received signal detected by an analog circuit such as a voltage detection circuit, and to provide an image forming apparatus and a control program.SOLUTION: A serial/parallel conversion circuit 20 reads a reference read value in accordance with a phase 180° of a reference point from a received signal RXDATA. A serial/parallel conversion circuit 24 reads an inspection read value in accordance with a phase of an inspection point from the received signal RXDATA. A comparison part 26 iteratively compares the reference read value with the inspection read value while shifting a phase of an inspection clock signal through a phase shift part 30, thereby detecting an error point where both the read values are mismatched, and calculating a window width. The comparison part 26 calculates the window value by changing a setting value of an equalizer 12 through an equalizer regulation circuit 28 and changes the setting value of the equalizer 12 so as to enlarge the window width. |
