PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin plate device which removes foreign objects from a perforated plate without scraping the foreign objects from the perforated plate in a device for removing the foreign objects from water.SOLUTION: A thin plate device removes foreign objects from water including the foreign objects using a perforated plate 9, a rear surface plate 10, and a skimming bar 8. The skimming bar 8 is disposed adjacent to a rear part of the perforated plate 9 to remove the foreign objects from the perforated plate 9 without scraping the foreign objects from the perforated plate 9. Movements of the skimming bar 8 and the rear surface plate 10 are synchronized.
