PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for enabling the projection of a video while suppressing distortion and luminance unevenness of the video even when a projection surface is a curved surface.SOLUTION: A video generation device generates a projection video to be projected to a prescribed area on a curved surface from an input video; determines luminance values of pixel positions in the projection video corresponding to positions arranged at equal interval in the prescribed area from luminance values of positions of peripheral pixels at pixel positions in the input video corresponding to said positions; determines reflectances of the positions arranged at equal interval in the prescribed area by using a parameter prescribing said positions and corrects the determined luminance values of said positions by using the determined reflectances of said positions; and outputs a projection video having the corrected luminance values.
