<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve running-through performance of a vehicle in emergency in a drive power distribution device.SOLUTION: When it is not in emergency, an ECU 12 drives a vehicle 1 by four-wheel driving when load of a torque coupling 11 is less than a normal threshold Tha, namely normal control. When it is not in emergency, the ECU 12 drives the vehicle 1 by two-wheel driving when the load of the torque coupling 11 is equal to or more than the normal threshold Tha, namely protection control. In addition, when it is in emergency, the ECU 12 maintains the four-wheel driving, namely the normal control even the load of the torque coupling 11 becomes equal to or more than the normal threshold Tha. Therefore, even it is in emergency where it is estimated that a road surface state is bad due to disaster or the like, by maintaining the four-wheel driving, a stack state in which a front wheel 10f which is a main drive wheel is in an idling state and resulting in a traveling impossible state, may be suppressed.</p> |
