<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the difficulty to view content displayed on a display while reducing power consumption by reducing the luminance of a backlight.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus comprises: a display; a backlight emitting light at first luminance or second luminance of lower luminance level than that of the first luminance; backlight adjustment means for, when the backlight emits light at the first luminance, turning on the backlight at the second luminance according to that the size of a display area for displaying predetermined content on the display is changed to a prescribed size or more; and gradation conversion means for performing gradation conversion so as to increase a gradation value of the content according to the luminance of the backlight reduced to the second luminance.</p> |
