<p>PURPOSE: A multimedia device and a method for automatically adjusting video are provided to automatically output video displayed on a television and a monitor, thereby continuously displaying video with brightness and color that a user wants. CONSTITUTION: Level values are detected according to each signal component of an external input video(S10~S13). The level values of the detected video are compared with the level values of each signal component of previously stored video adjustment information(S14). A level difference value is calculated through the comparison(S15). Gain adjustment values according to each signal component within the video adjustment information are varied.</p> |
